The Viewers dropdown is located on the Main Menu to the right of the Pavement dropdown.
Function
The Viewers menu provides icons for five available viewers: Pavement, Photolog, Google Street View, SLD (Straight Line Diagram), and Bridge.
Pavement
The Pavement Viewer tool () opens the SCDOT Pavement Viewer pop-up. In order to open this interface, the user must click on the "Viewer" dropdown, select the Pavement Viewer icon, then click on the intended area on the Map Frame. These actions will trigger the appearance of a list of routes nearby. In the list, the user can select the desired route link to view it in the SCDOT Pavement Viewer. The row containing data for the selected route will be highlighted in yellow in the Viewer table.
Photolog
The Photolog Viewer tool () opens the SCDOT Photolog Viewer pop-up. In order to open this interface, the user must click on the "Viewer" dropdown, select the Photolog Viewer icon, then click on the intended area on the Map Frame. These actions will trigger the appearance of a list of routes nearby. In the list, the user can select the desired route link to view it in the SCDOT Photolog Viewer.
If the selected route does not have any images in the Photolog, a message will appear that allows the user to view a list of routes that do have images. The user will only be able to see 300 entry rows in this list.
Google Street View
The Google Street View tool () opens the Google Maps application in Street View. In order to open this interface, the user must click on the "Viewer" dropdown, select the Google Street View icon, then click on the intended area on the Map Frame. These actions will trigger the appearance of a list of routes nearby. In the list, the user can select the desired route link to view it in Street View. Then, the user can view and interact with the route as it appears in-person.
SLD
The SLD Viewer tool () opens the SLD Manager pop-up. In order to open this interface, the user must click on the "Viewer" dropdown, select the SLD Viewer icon, then click on the intended area on the Map Frame. These actions will trigger the appearance of a list of routes nearby. In the list, the user can select the desired route link to view it in the SLD Manager. The user can navigate across the given route mile points on the SLD Manager.
Bridge
The Bridge Viewer tool () opens the Bridge Data View pop-up. In order to open this interface, the user must click on the "Viewer" dropdown, select the Bridge Viewer icon, then click on the intended area on the Map Frame. These actions will trigger the appearance of a list of routes nearby. In the list, the user can select the desired route link to view it in the Bridge Data View interface. This interface shows the Bridge data for the given route/project; all information here is view-only. The user can also generate a Structure Inventory & Appraisal Report, print all tabs or the current tab, and view images related to the bridge by using the given link controls.
