The Non-Federal Aid interface () provides options to import, edit, export, and recalculate non-federal aid summary data. This interface can be accessed on the Submittals tab; it is in the Summary Files section.
Summarized AADTs
If the user wishes to edit the Rural Local AADT, Rural Minor Collector AADT, and Small Urban Local AADT values, they can follow these steps:
- Click into the desired field in the Summarized AADTs section: Rural Local AADT, Rural Minor Collector AADT, or Small Urban Local AADT.
- Type in a new value in the resulting textbox.
- Click the "Save Changes" button.
Populate
The user can populate the Non-Federal Aid Summaries table using one of these methods: importing a file or recalculating the data.
Import a File
To import a non-federal aid summary file, follow these steps:
- Click the "Choose File" button at the bottom left of the interface.
- Select a file to import.
- After selecting the desired file, click the "Open" button.
- Confirm the selection in the pop-up by clicking "OK" to import the file.
Recalculate Data
To recalculate the data, follow these steps:
- Select a data table in the "Data Table" picklist.
- Click the "Recalculate" button.
- If the new values are sufficient, click the "Save Changes" button to save the new values.
Edit
The first column in the interface table-- Override-- is available to initiate the editing process for the desired record. To fully edit a record, follow these steps:
- Select the checkbox in the "Override" column for the desired record or click on a record that has been previously overridden.

Once selected, a textbox will appear in the Local VMT and Comments columns to allow edits.
- If the user wishes to edit the Comments column only, they can simply click on the record's row without checking the "Override" box.
- After entering the desired changes, click the "Save Changes" button.
Note: Overridden records will not be recalculated or be overridden by the import process.
Export
To export the non-federal aid summary table, the user can first choose either CSV or Text in the "File Type" picklist located at the bottom right of the interface. Then, they can click the "Export to Pipe Delimited File". The file will contain the following headers: BeginDate, StateID, FSystem, UrbanID, VMT, and Comments.
