The Data Table Configuration interface allows the user to create data tables. This article outlines the manner of executing this task. All information found here occurs in the Data Tables interface, accessible from the System Administration tab.
Create
To create a new data table, the user can follow these steps:
- Select the "Create New" button to trigger the appearance of the Create New interface.
- Fill out the required fields: Name and Year.
- Name - Textbox used to enter a name for the data table.
- Year - Textbox used to specify the year of the data table.
- Fill out the optional fields if desired.
- Description - Textbox used to enter a description for the data table.
- Type - Picklist used to specify a HPMS Data Table Type.
- Temporal Date -Single selection radio button used to specify if the data table will retrieve temporal data. If the user chooses to retrieve temporal data (Filter As Of), they must specify a date manually (textbox) or through calendar select (icon).
- Setup Table - Single selection radio button used to create a new table or copy a data table definition from a previously created data table. If the user chooses to copy a data table (Copy from), they must specify a data table in the picklist.
- Select the "Create" button at the bottom of the interface after all required and desired fields have values.
