The HPMS Report Status interface () allows the user to track and update the progress of the HPMS Submittal process. This tool can be accessed by selecting the Reports tab, then the HPMS Report Status icon.
Overview
The HPMS Report Status interface is divided into 3 sections: Section Validations, Sample Validations, and Submittal Files. There are two overarching actions that can be performed in this interface:
- Mark Items as Complete - Each of the three sections has checkboxes which are used to mark items (Validations and Files) as complete and update the status.
- Track Section File Creation - The user can also track which Section Files have been created through the Section Files interface. Items can be marked complete on this interface as well.
Mark Items as Complete
Each HPMS Report Status item can be marked complete by selecting the checkbox by the item. As selections are made, the progress bar will be updated since items are being marked as complete. This logic also applies to items that are unchecked; the progress bar will be automatically updated since items are being marked as incomplete. Changes will also update the HPMS process percent complete. To save any changes made, click the "Save Changes" button.
Track Section File Creation
Under the Submittal Files section, the user can find the Section File Submittal Status link which will be listed in this format: [#] of [#] marked as ready. This link leads to an interface that tracks which Section Files have been created through the Section Files interfaces. It is currently organized using tabs based on 9 different FHWA categories (Control, Designations, Intersections, Inventory, Lanes, Pavement, Route, Terrain, and Traffic). Items can be marked as complete/incomplete on this interface through two methods:
- The checkbox beside the desired item(s).
- The available "Select All..." links.
- Select All Tab Items - Select all items in the current tab.
- Select TOPS Data Items - Select the TOPS data items, regardless of the currently selected tab.
- Select All - Select all HPMS Data Items on all tabs.
Marking items as complete/incomplete will update the progress bar on the main "HPMS Report Status" interface and the first number on the Section File Submittal Status link (to reflect the number of items marked as complete). Before exiting the Section File Submittal Status pop-up, the user must click the "Save Changes" button to solidify any changes.
