This is a tool that is located on the Maintenance section of the System Administration tab.
Function
The User interface () provides options to add new users, edit user information, edit permissions, and edit data privileges. System Administration permissions are required to view this interface.
Sections
The User Maintenance interface consists of 4 sections:
- User Type Control -- Allows the selection of the user type to view in the table.
- User Table -- Provides a list of users included in the selected user type.
- Edit Fields -- Allows the editing of user information for the selected user.
- Button Controls -- Gives the option to add a new user, save changes, or discard changes.

Status Dropdown | User Type Control | Filter the table to display only active users, only inactive users, or all users. |
Last Name Search Box | User Table | Search and toggle to a specific user. |
Delete Selected Link | User Table | Delete users by selecting the checkbox beside their name and clicking this link. |
Last Name Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the last name of the selected user; required field. |
First Name Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the first name of the selected user; required field. |
Username Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the username of the selected user; required field. |
Email Address Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the email address of the selected user. |
User Status Dropdown | Edit Fields | Edit the status of the selected user. |
Is HPMS User Checkbox | Edit Fields | Specify the selected user as an HPMS User. |
Edit Permissions Link | Edit Fields | Open a pop-up menu to edit the permissions of the currently selected user. |
Permissions Table | Edit Fields | View the list of permissions assigned to the selected user. |
Data Privileges Link | Edit Fields | Open a pop-up menu to edit the data privileges of the currently selected user. |
Data Privileges Table | Edit Fields | View the list of data privileges assigned to the selected user. The two Yes/Nos in parentheses answer whether the data item is saved to the overlay (1) and saved to source (2). |
Add New User Button | Button Controls | Add a new user to the application. |
Save Changes Button | Button Controls | Save changes made to the selected user. |
Discard Changes Button | Button Controls | Discard changes made in the current session. |
