This is a tool that is located on the Configuration section of the System Administration tab.
Function
The Data Source interface () is used to edit data sources using the dropdown control and to add data sources using the Add New button. HPMS Manager supports two data source types: Oracle (Database) and Map Service. The Connection Parameters section of the interface will showcase relevant fields for the selected data source type.
Controls
This interface hosts the following controls:

| Data Source Dropdown | Static Control | Select a previously created Data Source to edit its parameters. |
| Add New Button | Static Control | Add a data source. |
| Data Source Type Dropdown | Static Control | Select the data source type (Oracle or Map Service). |
| Shortcut Textbox | Static Control | Specify a shortcut for the data source. |
| Verify Source Button | Static Control | Verify that the values entered can be used to connect to the specified database. |
| Delete Source Button | Static Control | Delete the selected data source. |
| Save Changes Button | Static Control | Save changes to the selected data source. |
| Discard Changes Button | Static Control | Discard changes made to the selected data source. |
| Server Textbox | Oracle (Database) | Enter the name of the server when connecting to the data source. |
| Username Textbox | Oracle (Database) | Enter the database username when connecting to the data source. |
| Password Textbox | Oracle (Database) | Enter the database password when connecting to the data source. |
| Database Textbox | Oracle (Database) | Enter the name of the database that is to be accessed by the data source. |
| Service Directory Textbox | Map Service | Enter the URL of the map server. |
| Service Textbox/Dropdown | Map Service | Enter the name of the map service. |
| Service Type Textbox | Map Service | Enter the type of service (MapServer, FeatureServer, etc.). |
| Include in Map Legend Checkbox | Map Service | Include events in the selected map service in the map legend. |
