Data Table Controls

The Data Tables interface () hosts many controls throughout its internal tabs and static button functionalities. In order to easily navigate this interface, all controls and their purposes are described in this article.

Control	Tab	Used To...
Create New Button	Static on Interface	Open a pop-up to create a new Data table.
Set Official Button	Static on Interface	Open a pop-up to set the selected Data Table as Official.
Populate Data Table/Refresh Date Button	Static on Interface	Populate the data table after configuring the route/data items in the interface. This button will change to "Refresh Data" to allow edits once the table is populated.
Delete Data Table Button	Static on Interface	Delete the Data Table displayed.
Save Changes Button	Static on Interface	Save changes applied in the Data Table Configuration interface.
Discard Changes Button	Static on Interface	Discard changes temporarily applied in the Data Table Configuration interface.
Save Data Table as Source Button	Static on Interface	Save the current Data Table as a data source table for new overlays. This is useful for creating new overlays where a previous overlay may be the most current representation of specific data items.
Name Textbox	Data Table Information Tab	Enter a name for the data table.
Year Textbox	Data Table Information Tab	Specify the year of the data table.
Description Textbox	Data Table Information Tab	Enter a description for the data table.
Filter as of Date Textbox or Calendar Select	Data Table Information Tab	Specify a date filter for the data table manually (textbox) or by calendar selection.
Data Table Type Dropdown	Data Table Information Tab	Specify the data table type as Inventory Manager.
Complete Dropdown	Data Table Information Tab	Specify if the data table is complete (Yes/No).
Created On Message	Data Table Information Tab	Show the creation date of the selected data table; automatically filled.
Refreshed On Message	Data Table Information Tab	Show the date the selected data table was last populated/refreshed; automatically filled.
Approved for Guest Checkbox	Data Table Information Tab	Determine if guest users can use the selected data table throughout the application.
Is Locked Checkbox	Data Table Information Tab	Restrict or "lock" other users from editing or deleting a data table.
Locked By Message	Data Table Information Tab	Show which user has locked the data table.
View Populate Report Link	Data Table Information Tab	Show all warnings and errors found while populating on a pop-up window.
Data Source Dropdown	Required Items Tab	Select the data source for route network data.
Table Name Dropdown	Required Items Tab	Select the table where the route data is located.
Route ID Dropdown	Required Items Tab	Specify the Route ID field for the route data.
From Measure Dropdown	Required Items Tab	Specify the From Measure field for the route data.
To Measure Dropdown	Required Items Tab	Specify the To Measure field for the route data.
From Date Dropdown	Required Items Tab	Specify the From Date field when applying temporal data filters. This field is only required when the selected data table contains temporal data.
To Date Dropdown	Required Items Tab	Specify the To Date field when applying temporal data filters. This field is only required when the selected data table contains temporal data.
Filters Textbox	Required Items Tab	Enter a valid SQL filter that the Populate process uses to filter a subset of data from the selected route network.
Delete Selected Rows Link	Attributes Tab	Delete all selected items from the data items table.
Copy Selected Rows Link	Attributes Tab	Copy the selected items from the data items table.
Add New Row Link	Attributes Tab	Add a new row to the data items table.
Attributes Complete Message	Attributes Tab	Track the number of complete Inventory Data items added to the selected Data Table.
Data Items Table	Attributes Tab	View and edit the cells' information.
