The System Administration tab is used to manage and maintain system administration functions for Inventory Manager. There are two sections on this tab: Maintenance and Configuration.
Icons
Each icon on the tab, except Flush Cache, leads to an interface. These interfaces and their specific roles are listed below by section.
Maintenance
The following tools are provided under the Maintenance group:

-- Code Lists: Opens the interface which is used to maintain the SCDOT code lists stored in the RIMS database.

-- System Tables: Opens the interface which is used to maintain attribute values associated with table and column entries in the RIMS database SI_TABLES and SI_COLUMNS tables, respectively.

-- Users: Opens the interface which is used to add and edit user information and privileges.
-
-- Map Hover: Opens the interface which is used to specify up to five data items to display in the map hover box for route segments mapped from the Map tab.

-- Route Refresh: Opens the interface which is used to refresh routes.
-
-- Flush Cache: Removes the data on the cache and refreshes the page.
Configuration
The following tools are provided under the Configuration group:

-- Data Sources: Opens the interface which is used to create and manage data sources.
-
-- Data Tables: Opens the interface which is used to create and manage data tables.
-
-- System: Opens the interface which is used to edit configuration values used throughout Inventory Manager.
