Function
The New Session link allows the user to start defining a new session. When selected, the contents of the session interface will be reset to contain a single empty transaction row.
New Session
If the current contents of the session interface have not been saved, the user will be prompted to save the session or discard the session changes before a new session can be started. When the user clicks the "New Session" link on a filled interface, the message box below will appear.
There are three possible responses to the pop-up message: Yes, No, and Cancel. These responses are explained in the table.
| Response | Used To... |
| Yes | Open the Save Session pop-up to save the current selections before clearing the interface for a New Session. |
| No | Clear the selections on the interface. |
| Cancel | Cancel the request for a New Session and retain the current display and selections on the interface. |
