This tool is located on the RIMS section of the Road tab.
Function
The Route Modification interface () allows a user to define a series of route mod transactions to be performed within a route mod session.
Layout & Actions
Upon entry into the Route Modification interface, the user will be presented with a single empty transaction row. The user may choose to perform one of these two actions:
- Fill the transaction rows -- Start defining the transactions for a new session.
- "Open Session" -- Click the link to open an existing session.
Controls
There are some static controls offered in the Route Modification interface.
| Control | Used To... |
| Delete Checkbox/Delete Selected Link | Delete one or more transactions by selecting a row checkbox, then the link. |
| Order Field | Specify the order in which the transactions should be processed when the Preview button is selected; automatically filled but can be edited. |
| Mod Type Field/Dropdown | Select the modification type for the row. |
| Add Link | Add a new empty transaction row. |
| Insert Link | Insert a new empty transaction row above the currently selected transaction row. |
| Ignore S/L/S Checkbox | Include S/L/S data in the output. |
| New Session Link | Reset the interface to start defining a new session. |
| Open Session Link | Open a route mod session that was previously created. |
| View Overlaps Link | View the current overlaps for a route. |
| Local Road Finder Link | View a list of existing local routes in a specified county. |
| Preview Button | Display the results of applying the defined route mod session transactions in the Route Mod Preview interface. |
| Save Session Button | Save the current session definition to the database. |
| Discard Changes Button | Discard all changes made to the current session and revert the interface's display to its previous state. |
| Route Mod Log Link | Select a date range to show a listing of related Route Mod Log entries in a pop-up. |

Bind RIMS Attributes to Intersections
Within Inventory Manager, users are allowed to selectively update data in RIMS LRS tables for a route when the mile point of one or more intersections on the route have been modified.
