This tool is located on the Data section of the Bridge tab.
Function
The Bridge Data Maintenance interface () is used to query for a bridge or bridges to edit their various data elements. The eight tabs hosted in this interface-- Query, Inventory, Roads, Design, Clearances, Inspection, Loading, and Maintenance--help with this process. The Query tab allows the user to query for a bridge or bridges using filters and select the desired bridge to view in the other tabs. The seven other tabs allow the user to edit the selected bridge's information.
Static Controls
There are some static controls on the Bridge Data Maintenance interface that will appear on each tab. All controls listed in the table will be located on the lower portion of the interface.

Insert Bridge Link | Enter a new bridge record into the RIMS bridge table. |
Insert Repeat Bridge Link | Enter a new bridge record into the RIMS bridge table based on the currently displayed bridge. |
Delete Bridge Link | Delete the currently displayed bridge. |
Photolog Viewer Link | Open the Photolog Viewer and display the photolog image closest to the current bridge on route mile point. |
Pavement Viewer Link | Open the Pavement Viewer and display the pavement image and data closest to the current bridge on route mile point. |
Asset ID Changes Link | Open the Asset ID Changes interface to view a list of all deleted bridges, added bridges, or bridges whose structure number has been modified. |
Deleted Bridges Link | Open the Deleted Bridges interface to view and restore (with permissions) bridges which have been previously deleted. |
View Bridge CDs and Ramps Link | Open the Bridge Collector/Distributors and Ramps interface to view a list of all bridges which are located on a Ramp, Ramp Spur, or Collector/Distributor. |
Exception Reports Link | Open the Bridge Exception Reports interface to view a list of all Route Mod sessions in which one or more bridge locations were modified. |

Move to the first or last bridge in the query results. |

Move to the previous or next bridge in the query results. |
Save Changes Button | Save the bridge modifications to the RIMS database. |
Discard Changes Button | Discard all unsaved changes and refresh the display to show the bridge data stored in the database. |
Pop-Ups
There are four pop-up interfaces that result from the Asset ID Changes, Deleted Bridges, View Bridge CDs and Ramps, and Exception Reports link controls.
Asset ID Changes
To view the Asset ID changes in this pop-up, the user must fill the Asset ID picklist. Then, the user can fill the optional "To" and "From" date filters if desired. Once the filters are satisfactorily filled, the user can click the "Find" button to view the related changes in the table. The user can also utilize the "Reset" control to empty the Asset ID picklist and the "Export to Excel" control to view the results in Excel format.
Deleted Bridges
To view the deleted bridges in this pop-up, the user must fill the Asset ID picklist. Then, the user can fill the optional "To" and "From" date filters if desired. Once the filters are satisfactorily filled, the user can click the "Find" button to view the deleted bridges in the table. The user can also utilize these controls:

View Bridge CDs and Ramps
The View Bridge CDs and Ramps pop-up is a view-only list of all bridges which are located on a Ramp, Ramp Spur, or Collector/Distributor. The only action available on this interface is to view the list in Excel format by clicking the "Export to Excel" link.
Exception Reports
To view an Exception Report, the user can select a row's checkbox, then click the "View Report" link. To delete an entry, the user can select a row's checkbox, then click the "Delete Selected" link.
Structure Identification
The Structure Identification fields are static on all internal tabs except Query. These display-only fields appear at the top of the interface, and they provide information on the bridge currently shown in the interface. There are thirteen fields: Asset ID, Structure Number, Structure Name, District, County, Route Type, Auxiliary, Direction, Milepoint, Bridge Direction, Facility Carried, and Crossing Name.
Color Key
There are some fields across the internal tabs which are required. To indicate their need, required fields will appear in blue. The user can consider the helpful boxes in the lower lefthand corner of the interface or the Color Key article to understand the present colors and their roles.
