This internal tab is located on the Bridge Data Maintenance interface on the Bridge tab.
Function
The Roads internal tab allows the user to define the main On Route, the main Under Route, and additional On and Under routes for the bridge. A bridge is required to have either a main On Route or a main Under Route. The three tabs inside the "Roads" tab-- On Route, Under Route, and All Routes-- tackle this requirement.
On Route
The On Route tab is used to define the main On Route for a bridge. Some fields will be editable in this tab. To edit items in the "Identification" or "Hwy/Classification" sections, the user can click into the field and type or select a new value. To edit items in the "Traffic" section of the On Route tab, the user can click the available "Override" checkboxes and enter new data. The user can also view the date of the last override by selecting this checkbox.
Under Route
The Under Route tab is used to define the main Under Route for a bridge.
All Routes
The All Routes tab is used to provide a listing of all On and Under routes associated to a bridge. This tab allows the user to add additional On and/or Under routes to the main On/Under route defined on the separate On/Under tabs. There are two tables on this tab.
On Routes Table
The first table on the All Routes tab lists all the On routes associated to the bridge (main, subordinate, or additional). The first entry will always be the main On Route. If the main On Route has any routes subordinate to it at the bridge mile point, those routes will also be listed immediately after the main On routes. The user will not be able to edit or delete the main On Route and any associated subordinate rows; they will only be able to edit rows that are for dominant additional On routes.
Under Routes Table
The second table on the All Routes tab lists all the Under routes associated to the bridge (main, subordinate, or additional). The first entry will always be the main Under Route. If the main Under Route has any routes subordinate to it at the bridge mile point, those routes will also be listed immediately after the main Under routes. The user will not be able to edit or delete the main Under Route and any associated subordinate rows; they will only be able to edit rows that are for dominant additional Under routes.
Important Controls
There are some important controls offered on the All Routes tab:
Control | Used To... |
Delete Selected Links | Delete selected entries. |
Add On Route Link | Add an additional On route for the bridge. |
Add Under Route Link | Add an additional Under route for the bridge. |
Save Changes
If the user edits or fills any fields in the Roads tab, they must click the "Save Changes" button before exiting the interface. Any changes that are not saved before exiting will be discarded.
