The Select Segment from Map tool () is located on the Map and Interactive Controls ribbon.

Select Segment from Map

To utilize the Select Segment from Map tool, the user must follow the steps below:

1. Click the Select Segment from Map icon ().
2. Click on the desired area on the map.
3. View the mapped segment and information pop-up.

Mapped Segment

The mapped segment will show the user selected point (orange), the begin mile point (green), and the end mile point (red).

Information Pop-Up

The information pop-up for the Select Segment from Map function will consist of these elements:

• Route Name (SC 34 in example below)
• User Selected Point (@ 6.519 in example below)
• County Name (Fairfield in example below)
• Begin Mile Point (6.143 in example below)
• End Mile Point (6.946 in example below)
