The Map and Interactive Controls ribbon is located between the Main Menu and Map Frame.

Function

The Map and Interactive Controls provide methods of interacting with the EGIS Viewer Map Frame. 

Controls

The following controls are offered on this ribbon:

Icon	Name	Used To...
	Map Search	Enter a street name, address, or route number and click "Search" to navigate to a specific location or project.
	Select Point from Map	Click on the icon and then a location on the map to retrieve a list of routes near the location or a route confirmation box.
	Select Segment from Map	Click on the icon and then a location on the map to map the segment and view the County, Route, BMP, and EMP data for the segment.
	Legend	Open the Layer Control, or the Legend, on the Map Frame. The Legend can be removed from the Map Frame by clicking the "Hide Legend" link.
	Basemap	Open a list of available basemaps.
	State	Zoom the map to the State boundary.
	Zoom Area	Change the mouse control to Zoom to a user defined area. The user can then click and drag the mouse to outline the desired area to zoom to.
	Zoom Query	Zoom the map to the results of a currently defined query.
	Map LAT/LON	Zoom to a location based on inputted latitude and longitude coordinate information.
	Query Settings	Change the color, weight, style, units, and offset of mapped elements.
	Print Map	Open a Windows Print Dialog to print the map at its current size and display.
, ,	Clear	Clear certain elements. There are three clear capabilities: Full Reset () -- Clear all query criteria, query results, and map results, and zoom to state. Clear Query () -- Clear all query criteria. Clear Query/Map () -- Clear query and map results.
