The Query Settings tool () is located on the Map and Interactive Controls ribbon.
Query Settings
Once "Query Settings" is selected, five fields and one checkbox will be on display.
| Control | Description |
| Color | This picklist allows the user to select the color for mapped items. |
| Weight | This picklist allows the user to determine the weight (or size) of a mapped line/route. Both a numerical "point" value and image will be on display for each option in this list to clarify the user's selection. |
| Style | This picklist allows the user to select a different line style. Line styles here include full lines, dashed lines, dotted lines, and various combinations of dot/dash lines. |
| Units | This picklist allows the user to determine the unit of measurement: Feet, Miles, Meters, or Kilometers. |
| Offset | This textbox allows the user to enter a number to offset a returned line. |
| Query Stacking | This checkbox allows the user to turn query stacking on (check) or off (unchecked). |
Use Query Settings
To use the Query Settings tool, the user can utilize the available controls (picklists/textbox/checkbox), then exit the interface ("Close" link). These updates will automatically apply to the next search. Changes to this interface must be done before running a search; if anything is changed after a search is ran, the search must be redone to reflect the change.
