The Map LAT/LON tool () is located on the Map and Interactive Controls ribbon.

Radio Button Options

There are two radio button options available on the Map LAT/LON tool interface: "Lat/Lon" and "County." The Lat/Lon option appears above the County option.

The County, Route, and Route Aux fields are included in the "Lat/Lon" radio button option to allow the user to specify a route to return when the latitude and longitude entered returns multiple route locations. This is addressed in the message in this section.

Map LAT/LON

To utilize the Map LAT/LON tool, the user must follow these steps:

1. Select a radio button option.
2. Fill the required fields for the selected radio button.
   • For the Lat/Lon radio button (first option), the user must fill either the Latitude and Longitude Degrees (deg), Minutes (min), and Seconds (sec), fields, OR the user must fill the Latitude and Longitude Decimal Degrees fields.
   • For the County radio button (second option), the user must fill the County, Route, Route Number, and MilePoint fields.
3. Fill the optional fields if desired.
   • For the Lat/Lon radio button (first option), the user can enter information into the County, Route, and Route Aux fields to specify a route to return (if multiple route locations will result from the entered Lat/Lon).
4. Click the "Locate" button.
