The Rail tab provides controls related to Railroad Crossings. There are 3 sections on the Rail ribbon: Data, Evaluate, and System Administration.

Icons

Each icon on this tab leads to an editing interface. These icons and their specific roles are listed below by section. 

Data

The following tools are provided under the Data group:

1. -- Railroad Crossings: Used to edit or view railroad crossing information.
2. -- F, I & P: Used to maintain or view the railroad crossing fatalities, injuries, and property damage.

Evaluate

The following tools are provided under the Evaluate group:

1. -- Rank Crossings: Used to update the list of railroad rankings.
2. -- Reports: Used to create reports on actions specific to the Rail tab, such as deficiencies, rankings, and re-inspection.

System Administration

The following tools are provided under the System Administration group:

1. -- Import Data: Used to upload data from a sub-contractor supplied data file.
2. -- Code Lists: Used to maintain the relevant railroad crossing code lists.
3. -- Owners: Used to view, edit, and add owners to the interface.
